Develop and review a custom stainless steel solution with EPIC QT’s Custom Design Proposal Service. Using your photographs, measurements, and project requirements, we prepare a proposed design so you can review its dimensions and configuration before committing to fabrication.

Initial Project Review — No Charge

Send us a brief project description, clear photographs, and available measurements. We will review feasibility and determine the appropriate next step. This preliminary review does not include CAD modeling or detailed design development.

Initial Design Proposal — $160

For one straightforward custom sheet-metal part, this package includes:

• An initial consultation of up to 20 minutes by phone or equivalent email discussion.

• Development of one proposed design.

• A 3D model preview and dimensioned approval PDF.

• One consolidated round of minor revisions requiring up to 15 minutes of design work.

A minor revision is a limited adjustment, such as changing a dimension or relocating a hole, within the included time allowance. Submit your requested changes together.

Multiple-part assemblies, alternative concepts, and more involved projects require an individual quote.

Information Needed

Provide the intended use, quantity, dimensions, photographs of the actual installation area, and any mounting or clearance requirements. Include a dimensioned sketch when possible. Customers are responsible for supplying accurate measurements and reviewing the proposed dimensions and installation details.

Additional Design Work

Work beyond the included scope is available through our separate Additional Design Development Service at $120 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. We obtain approval of the estimated additional cost before proceeding. Corrections to EPIC QT drafting errors are completed at no charge.

Design and Fabrication

The $160 fee covers the design service. Materials, physical prototypes, tooling setup, fabrication, shipping, editable CAD files, and production drawings for another fabricator are excluded unless expressly included in your written quote.

Design fees cover the services performed whether or not fabrication proceeds. Any credit toward fabrication must be confirmed in writing.

Design work begins after scope confirmation, payment, and receipt of the required project information. Fabrication is quoted separately and requires final written design approval and the required fabrication payment.
